Tell me what you know about her.I'll take it from there.
A one-on-one engagement ring consultation with the designer who will draw it, source the diamond, and see it through to your hands. No inventory to sort through, no certificates to decode alone.
- Complimentary, no obligation
- Virtual or in person
- Ready 3 to 4 weeks after design approval
You probably know more than you think.
Most people who reach out already have a few of these. Bring whatever you have. If you have none of it, that's fine too, and I'll help you build the surprise from scratch.
-
The diamond shape she likes
-
Yellow, white, or rose gold, or platinum
-
A rough carat size
-
A budget range
-
Screenshots or inspiration photos
-
Her ring size, or a ring you can borrow
-
A specific setting in mind (optional)
-
Something personal to build into it (optional)
From your first message to the finished ring.
Every step below is handled by one person, start to finish. Here is exactly what happens once you reach out.

Before we meet
I do the homework.
Based on what you share, I put together ring directions, design options, and visuals. Where it helps, that includes 3D renderings so you can see what each direction would actually look like. I also begin narrowing diamonds by shape, size, quality, and budget.

The consultation, about an hour
We meet one-on-one.
I walk you through what I've prepared. We talk about the setting, the diamond, proportions, budget, and the details that make the ring hers. Instead of asking you to compare hundreds of stones and read certificates on your own, I explain the differences that matter and help you narrow it down.

After we agree on a direction
You approve the design before anything is made.
I personally source the diamond, often walking into New York's Diamond District to choose it in person. I'm looking at how the stone actually performs and how beautiful it is, not just what its certificate says.
"You don't have to become a diamond expert. That's my job."

3 to 4 weeks after approval
We make the ring.
Setting, metal, engraving, hidden details: everything is customizable. Every Cove engagement ring is finished with a tiny ocean-blue diamond set inside the band.

Delivery
I check every detail, then it ships fully insured.
Before the ring leaves, I personally confirm everything is right. It arrives insured, in Cove packaging, ready for the moment.
Three diamond options. One decision, not a hundred.
Rather than choosing from a massive online inventory, you pick the quality level that fits your priorities and budget. I then source and select the best stone in that category for your ring.
-
Heritage
Our rarest tier; reserved for diamonds with exceptional, colorless brilliance — the kind of clarity you'd find in still water on a clear winter morning. They're the most sought-after stones we carry, and for someone set on nothing less than the finest, nothing else compares. They cost more, accordingly.
-
Signature
Where most of our couples end up, and it's easy to see why. These diamonds bring the same brilliant, luminous sparkle you'd expect from our finest stones — bright, radiant and unmistakably fine. It's the sweet spot: exceptional beauty at a price that leaves room for a bigger stone, a more personal setting, even multiple stones.
-
Coastal
These diamonds carry a rich, sun-warmed glow and plenty of character. Set in yellow gold especially, they take on a luminous, golden radiance that's entirely their own — bright, warm and full of presence. This collection is for anyone drawn to a distinctive stone with real depth, and the room to go bigger or more custom along the way.

A little bit of ocean, hidden inside.
Every Cove engagement ring carries a tiny ocean-blue diamond set on the inside of the band. She won't see it from the outside. It's there for the two of you.

Questions people ask before booking
I don't know anything about what she wants. Can you still help?
Yes. Some clients come in completely blind. We'll work from what you know about her style, and I'll guide the process so the surprise still feels like it was made for her.
How long does the whole process take?
Design and diamond selection move at your pace. Once you approve the CAD and specs, production is generally 3 to 4 weeks. If you have a date in mind, tell me early and we'll plan around it.
Do I need to pick the diamond myself?
No. You choose the quality category (Heritage, Signature, or Coastal) and I select the stone. I'm evaluating the actual beauty and performance of the diamond, not just the certificate.
Is the consultation virtual or in person?
We offer both virtual and in person consultations.
Location:
Virtual: via Google Meet, Zoom, etc.
What if I need to keep it a secret?
Discreet by default. [Confirm with Alyson: shipping name/packaging options, how ring sizing works without her knowing.]
Is the consultation free? Is there a deposit?
The consultation is complimentary. [Confirm with Alyson: deposit timing and payment structure once a design is approved.]
